1. The system is ideal for setting up most techniques used for low volume protein crystallography including vapor diffusion (sitting drop, hanging drop), microbatch, bicelle and free interface diffusion screens. The proven aspirate and dispense technology can pipette the most troublesome precipitants including PEG and isopropanol. Accurate positioning allows the system to address most crystallography plate types.
2. It also offers: plate copying, plate filling, multiple additions, micro seeding, same plate transfers, plate cloning and pooling, serial dilution.
3. The system is an innovative low volume liquid handler which combines the liquid transfer capability of a fixed head pipettor with the convenience and zero cross-contamination of disposable pipettes. |
