Feature 1. X-Ray research solutions include custom cabinet irradiator that are used for delivering precise radiation doses to in vivo and in vitro biological specimens. 2. Irradiation cabinets have been traditionally used for both in vitro and in vivo treatments. The system offers the user an advantage with in vivo treatments by mimicking the geometry and movements of Human Radiation Therapy treatment. Research usually begins with an in vitro component. This allows the user to be able to visualize and quantify irradiation. With the advancement in irradiators we can now use imaging to track tumors and quantify the irradiation. 3. Pre-clinically the machine(a beam as small as 5mm) can be used for replicating current treatments, evaluating possible new treatments, radiation damage and evaluation of the histology and biology of the specific target by using Multi dimensions with rotational X-ray irradiator. |
