현 진행상황 According to PMDA's instructions, we are preparing a local toxicity test and an experiment to confirm the absorption of bFGF into the systemic circulation.
기술개요 It is a bFGF preparation that mixes with atelocollagen when used, and is a therapeutic agent for lower limb ischemia without cells.
연구개발 배경 A clinical study of lower limb ischemia in 10 patients was completed. We are currently in the process of PMDA consultation to conduct a Phase I/II clinical trial aiming for approval application (NDA).
특징 It is a pain reliever that does not use cells. It is mixed with atelocollagen so that bFGF can be retained locally in the affected lower limbs. This drug alleviates pain during walking and facilitates walking, which is expected to result in withdrawal of intermittent claudication. It is said that the lower limbs become the second heart by walking and promote peripheral circulation.
추가 연구개발 소요 현황 Phase I/II clinical trials are scheduled to start in early 2021. After that, a pivotal clinical trial will be conducted and the results will be submitted for approval (NDA).
